Thursday, May 1st, 6:30-8:30 pm, May Day Celebration of Community Unity and Worker Rights, Hosted by CNY Citizen Action, co-hosted by IMV and MVLA, DeSales Center (309 Genesee Street, Utica). Commemorating the sacrifices of workers who fought for the eight-hour workday, May Day 2025 will span over 100 cities including Utica and carry on the legacy of those workers by fighting for a country that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all its citizens—and not just a chosen few.
