Weekly IMV Protest in Utica

Thursday, September 4th, 4-5 pm, Weekly IMV Protest in Utica, 10 Broad Street, Alexander Pirnie Building, Utica. We gather every week to protest this administration and the complicit Republican Congress and judges who are dismantling the Constitution, due process, federal agencies, and the systems and services that have made this country strong–before our very eyes.  They want us to be scared, isolated, divided, hateful, and exhausted but we refuse to hide. We stand together in community and witness on behalf of those who are being attacked, disappeared, and stripped of the funding and services they need, all to give more wealth and power to the billionaires.  Bring a sign or use of our extras.

Protect the Vote & Fight the Trump Takeover Rally

Protect the Vote & Fight the Trump Takeover Rally

Saturday, August 16th, 12:00-1:30 pm, Protect the Vote & Fight the Trump Takeover Rally, East side of Ft. Stanwix (sidewalk along Black River Blvd), Rome, NY.  Let’s be clear: this fight started in Texas, but it doesn’t end there. This isn’t just about redistricting or one state’s politics. It’s about the future of our democracy. Trump is terrified of the American people. He knows he can’t win on his ideas, so he’s trying to take Congress by hook or by crook--and he’s doing it by silencing the voices of communities of color. We’re not going to let that happen. We'll be gathering on the sidewalk where E. Dominick Street meets Black River Blvd and stretching out from there. Bring your chairs, signs, drums, horns, kazoos, and American flags. It will be warm and sunny so wear a hat, bring an umbrella, and use sunblock! We will have some ice and water. There is a public parking lot on James Street and parking spots along Black River Blvd.
