"STOP Disappearing People in America"

Summer 2025

We are not going to Disappear

The Pop Up Rallies have been consistent at about 20 people.  The Theme this week was The Disappeared in America.  There were over 50 people in front of the Federal Building.  WKTV was there and did an interview.  Stay tuned for the broadcast.   The Pop Ups will continue every Thursday at 4 pm at the Federal Building in Utica, 10 Broad Street. We have lots of signs, and new people join every week.  Your presence will make a difference.  We get lots of honks and the connections are very supportive.  With vacations and holidays you can keep us going.

July 17, Good Trouble

We are confirming a location for this National event honoring John Lewis.  The time is 6 to 7 pm on Thursday July 17 (you can come after the Pop up).  We will have speakers and signs reminding us of the fragile nature of Democracy and Social Justice.  Good Trouble takes all of our participation. Every voice matters.  We are checking on permits for Nurse's Park, and Kopernik Park with Oneida Square as a backup plan.  Watch for our Mobilize registration when we have firmed up the location.

Local Community Gatherings

We are organizing local gatherings in Herkimer, Kirkland, Rome, New Hartford and Utica. This is an opportunity to come together with neighbors to make a difference in your community.  we started in 2016 with a small group, and have now become so large we need an auditorium!  We want to go back to the local connections and continue to evolve as a driving force in the Mohawk Valley.  In Herkimer, the next meeting is Tuesday, July 15 at 4 pm at the Basloe Library.  In Kirkland the meeting is Saturday, July 19 from 12 - 2 at the Kirkland Town Library.  We are looking for spaces and times for Rome, Utica and New Hartford.  If you have a location, please let us know.  You can send an email to imv@indivisiblemv.org

IMV Summer Picnic

Due to Vacations, other activities and general busy-ness, we are moving the IMV Summer Picnic from July 24 to the last week of July.  When we have confirmed the date, we will notify you.  Right now we are hoping for Tuesday July 29 at Sherrillbrook Park.  Details to follow!
